Our talented workforce designs, engineers, and builds refrigerated, heated and ambient food and beverage merchandising equipment for restaurants, sports venues, airports, schools, convenience stores, and supermarket chains across the country.
Lead the development of new designs from early research through production. Improve existing product designs and create differentiated products for new and existing market segments.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of innovative new products, features and enhancements.
Develop tools to gather ideas and concepts from employees, to include in the NPD pipeline.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to define DFM efforts that support Manufacturing and New Product Development.
Work collaboratively with the other technology teams to support NPD.
Identify areas of opportunity for DFM and standardization through primary/secondary research, observation and trends.
Work with internal and external resources to develop rapid prototypes, Proof of Concept prototypes and functional prototypes as needed.
Work closely with the Leadership team to provide feedback and input for long-term DFM and standardization strategy and vision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Masters a plus.
Excellent analytical skills and a technical acumen.
Proficiency in Solidworks or equivalent.
Strong organization and written communication skills.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in DFM, DFA, DFMEA, tolerance stack up and other tools.
