OEM Products - Blue-chip Customers - Vertically Integrated Manufacturing

Our talented workforce designs, engineers, and builds refrigerated, heated and ambient food and beverage merchandising equipment for restaurants, sports venues, airports, schools, convenience stores, and supermarket chains across the country.

 

Lead the development of new designs from early research through production. Improve existing product designs and create differentiated products for new and existing market segments.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of innovative new products, features and enhancements.
  • Develop tools to gather ideas and concepts from employees, to include in the NPD pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to define DFM efforts that support Manufacturing and New Product Development.
  • Work collaboratively with the other technology teams to support NPD.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for DFM and standardization through primary/secondary research, observation and trends.
  • Work with internal and external resources to develop rapid prototypes, Proof of Concept prototypes and functional prototypes as needed.
  • Work closely with the Leadership team to provide feedback and input for long-term DFM and standardization strategy and vision.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Masters a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a technical acumen.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks or equivalent.
  • Strong organization and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in DFM, DFA, DFMEA, tolerance stack up and other tools.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office.
  • Tech savvy.

What You'll Do

Carefully deliver and transact components to manufacturing areas, validating parts with blueprints and job orders, utilizing powered lift equipment and manual processes.

 

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and work orders
  • Ability to acquire powered vehicle license
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs

What You'll Do

Our Technical Support Specialists help our customers by supporting authorized service agents in the field as they are servicing our display cases.  They also interact with Quality, Operations, and Design Engineering to ensure that lessons from the field are applied to cases that we are building to ensure the best quality and delivery for our customers.

 

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma with technical or vocational training in HVAC/R
  • Able to read and interpret blue prints and use precision measuring instruments
  • 2+ years of field service work in the field of HVAC/R

What You'll Do

Our Fabrication Technicians weld and finish carbon-steel and stainless-steel sheet metal utilizing MIG and TIG welders, including finishing work for stainless steel.  This work is supports our manufacturing of highly customized refrigerated display cases.

 

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma with technical or vocational training
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Able to read and interpret blue prints and use precision measuring instruments
  • 5+ years MIG or TIG welding
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs

 

What Sets You Apart

  • 2+ years TIG welding in a custom shop
  • Experience with finishing stainless steel
  • Formal training on blueprints or CAD
  • Industry Certification or formal training in welding

Our Brake Press Operators form sheet metal utilizing Trumpf and Bystronic brake presses in small run sizes, carefully changing over frequently with our low-volume, high-mix product demand.

 

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma with technical or vocational training
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Able to read and interpret blue prints and use precision measuring instruments
  • 5+ years operating brake press machines or similar equipment
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs

  • 2+ years as a setup/changeover technician or similar experience
  • Formal training on blueprints or CAD

  • Able to read and interpret blue prints and use precision measuring instruments
  • 2+ years of manufacturing/carpentry experience
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs
