The Hancock County Middle School, faced with service bottlenecks and the age of its existing food display and serving products, worked with Wallin Foodservice Resources to install a new Structural Concepts’ Oasis® Self-Service Refrigerated Dual Sided Case to meet the challenge of both ensuring fit and finish in a difficult footprint and increasing efficiencies.

We designed the t-shaped serving line to give us the ability to have two hot serving lines feeding into a central, dual sided line for cold beverage/quick grab and go stations, which has made a noticeable difference in the flow of students. The dual-sided Oasis case from Structural Concepts has been a perfect solution. Having access from both sides allows us to serve more students at the same time while keeping students moving through the line efficiently. The doorless design also makes it quick and easy for students to grab their cold item, whether it is a beverage or fresh entree salad without creating a bottleneck.
